Max Healthcare launches Patient Assistance Centre in Kathmandu

October 14: Max Healthcare, one of the leading healthcare providers of North India, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Patient Assistance Centre in Kathmandu on Friday, October 12.

“This makes Nepal amongst a handful of international regions to house a Max Healthcare Patient Assistance Centre after Kenya, Iraq, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Uzbekistan,” the institution said in a statement.

According to the institution, the additional benefit to patients from Nepal is that they do not require a medical visa for their travel to India, unlike patients travelling from other countries.

“At Max Healthcare, we cater to hundreds of patients annually from Nepal alone. This new Patient Assistance Centre is a symbol of Max Healthcare’s commitment to provide world-class healthcare services to patients from across the globe,” the statement added.
