October 31: Hetauda Industrial District Management Office has started the process to take action against the industries which are operating without following the standards of Hetauda Industrial Estate.

The office, from Tuesday, initiated action against a total of 27 industries, which are operating without following the criteria set by the industrial estate. According to the office, it has already taken action against five industries.

“The office is all set to scrap the agreement with the industries which are yet to operate the industry even after acquiring land,” said Nepal Bhusan Baidhya, chief of the Hetauda Industrial District Management Office.

The office has asked the industries to operate as per the criteria set by the industrial estate within next three months. The office has also asked the industries which have already acquired land to build required infrastructures to operate the factory within the next six months.
