December 14: Gandaki Bikas Bank has opened a new branch in Far-western Nepal. Issuing a statement, the bank said it opened the branch at Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur district recently.

According to the statement, the finance minister of the province Jhapat Bahadur Bohora inaugurated the branch. In his speech during the inauguration, Minister Bohara said that the bank’s initiative to open the branch would benefit the low-income group of the region.

The bank’s CEO Resham Bahadur Thapa shed light about the bank’s activities during the function.

The bank said that the new branch will facilitate the locals and entrepreneurs of the areas.
