December 17: Global IME Bank has opened its branch at Bethanchwok of Kavre district. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota inaugurated the branch amid a recent function.

Speaking at the function, the minister praised the bank for extending its network. The minister said that opening of branches would ultimately help in the economic growth of the country. The bank’s Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal said that the bank has been providing its services not only in well-facilitated places but also in remote areas of the country.

The bank at present has been providing its services through 133 branches, 141 ATM outlets, six extension counters, 15 revenue collection counters and 110 branchless banking facilities.
