Cold Affects Normal Life, Morning Flights Disrupted in Banke

December 25: Normal life in Banke district has been affected due to a cold wave and thick fog. Banke district has been experiencing chilling cold from Tuesday, reported Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

The national news agency quoted the chief of Weather Field Office, AP Chaurasiya, saying that the minimum temperature of Banke district was 6 degrees Celsius on Monday, December 24. The temperature of Banke district is decreasing since the past two days.

According to RSS, the morning flights from Nepalgunj airport were disrupted due to low visibility following the cold wave and thick fog. There was only 400 meters visibility in the district Tuesday morning, added Chaurasiya.
