December 30: Birat Trade Expo 2018 saw transactions worth Rs 250 million. The nine-day expo recently concluded in Biratnagar.

The organisers said that they were expecting transactions worth Rs 200 million but the total transaction exceeded their estimate by Rs 50 million.

Navin Rijal, general secretary of Morang Chamber of Commerce, said that the public’s attraction towards the trade exhibition contributed to the massive transaction.

The expo was held from December 21 to 29. A total of 150,000 individuals had visited the trade expo, according to the organiser.

The expo features 25 stalls of products from India, China and Bangladesh.
