Vianet Upgrades its Speed

January 3: Internet service provider Vianet Communications has announced upgrading the speed of Internet taking into consideration the demand for high speed Internet.

Vianet said in a statement that it has upgraded its 20 Mbps Internet to 30 Mbps, and 30 Mbps to 40 Mbps. Along with this, Vianet has also been offering 60 Mbps internet to its customers, the statement further said.

The company further said that its customers will now have to pay only Rs 1,200 for 30 Mbps Internet per month, Rs 1,400 for 40 Mbps Internet per month, and Rs 1,720 for 60 Mbps Internet per month with yearly subscription of Vianet. The package also includes a free subscription of NET TV with 55 HD and 135 SD channels.

According to the company, this offer is also valid for internet subscription package of Vianet for three and six months.

“Vianet is elated to avail its customers with increased speed and enhanced user experience through this offer,” the statement said. 

The company which was previously based only in Kathmandu said it has also extended its service to Banepa, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Chitwan, Hetauda and Pokhara.
