Xiaomi Introduces Mi 8 Lite in Nepal

January 7: Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi announced the launch of Mi 8 Lite in Nepal. Issuing a recent statement, the company said that the latest model of the company's flagship Mi 8 series is tailored especially for young people who demand an amazing smartphone photography experience for their active social media lifestyle.

According to the company, Mi 8 Lite features a glass-back panel that has a stunning, mirror-like gradient finish. With a 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor on the front, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC under the hood, the company claimed that Mi 8 Lite will fulfill the needs of those who want great photos and an amazingly fluid experience on their smartphones.

Sourabh Kothari, country manager of Xiaomi Nepal, said, “We are excited to introduce the new Mi 8 Lite in Nepal. Powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and possessing an incredible 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor camera. Mi Lite 8 brings the best of the smart technology with amazing specs at a truly honest price to all our Mi Fans in Nepal. Mi 8 Lite comes with a 3350mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It also offers AI face unlock and a rear fingerprint sensor so securing the device is a seamless experience.

Mi 8 Lite is available in the market from Sunday, January 6 on Xiaomi’s online store, mi.com; online sales partner, Daraz; as well as offline stores.

The smartphone comes in aurora blue and midnight black colour variants at a price of Rs 31,999.
