KTM’s Showroom now at Pulchowk
The sole distributor of KTM bikes Hansraj Hulaschand has opened an exclusive outlet at Pulchowk, Lalitpur which was followed by second exclusive service centre at Jawalakhel. The brand new showroom will offer customers the exhilarating range of KTM bikes as well as KTM Power-wear merchandise.

The company said, the outlet promises to provide racing bike aficionados of Lalitpur with a pulsating experience of four models under the KTM stable. The mid-sized high performance RC 390, 390 Duke street racing bikes, the highly successful light-weight sporty 200 Duke and RC 200 cost Rs 5,99,000, Rs 6,75,000, Rs 4,35,000, and Rs 5,20,000 respectively. 

Likewise the Kawasaki Ninja 300 will also be available at the showroom at Rs 9,99,000.

CG Mobile Launches EON Edge
CG Mobile has launched the EON Edge in Nepal at a price tag of Rs 11,999. The new Smartphone comes with a 5.0” On-Cell HD IPS for clear and crystal display. It sports a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor for smooth operation whereas it is equipped with 16 GB ROM and 2 GB RAM. The phone, featured with a 2000 mAh battery, has an external memory which can be extended up to 32 GB. Similarly, the Smartphone operates on Android 5.1 lollipop and has a 13 MP Auto Focus rear camera and a 5.0 MP front camera.

Ncell Launches Night Voice Pack
Ncell has launched 'night voice pack' plan. This pack enables its prepaid customers to talk to other Ncell number at a very affordable rate of about 12 paisa per minute, excluding taxes, during night time, said Ncell. Customers can buy a night voice pack that consist on-net talk time of 60 minute at Rs 7, excluding taxes. The night voice pack is valid for 24 hours.

The talk time in the pack can be used from 10 pm to 6am, it added.  All Ncell prepaid customers can activate the pack by dialing 17106 and following the instructions thereafter or by simply typing ‘A’ and sending SMS to 17106. Similarly, customers can dial *901# to get information about the remaining talk time. Ncell had recently introduced daily and weekly voice packs for its prepaid customers.

Ncell Updates Mobile App to 2.0
The mobile service provider Ncell has revealed a new version of its mobile App. Through this App customers now can get different services and can manage them effectively, said Ncell.

Ncell customers can now check own call details, get information about the last 10 transactions, search nearest Ncell Center, Ncell Shop and authorised stores, download monthly bills, change tariff plans, ask for support and find roaming rates, among others. “The version 2.0 of Ncell Self-Service App comes with a new design that has everything a customer needs on home screen,” said Ncell corporate communications expert Milan Sharma. 

Ncell App can be used within Ncell network without any data charge. However, Ncell Store Locator map and redirected pages will be charged as per standard data tariff. The new version of Ncell App available for all platforms, including Android, iOS and Windows, is equipped with better, faster and full of amazing features of complete self-service solutions. Ncell subscribers can download the new version of Ncell App on their mobile by clicking on the link ncell.com.np/ncellapp.

The Amadablam Hotel Opens
The three star level Amadablam Hotel has started its service in Gaushala, Kathmandu. The new hotel was brought into operation by Hamro Investment Pvt. Ltd. and inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Anand Prasad Pokharel.

The hotel has 62 well-appointed rooms, a cozy restaurant and a deluxe presidential suite. Fifth and sixth floor contains a banquet room for up to a thousand guests, said the hotel. The hotel also has spa/gym facilities on its premises. 

The hotel said it will mainly target Indian tourists who come to visit the capital’s religious sites.

Micromax Canvas Juice 4   
Micromax’s Canvas Juice 4 Q382 is now available in the Nepali shops. The Smartphone comes with a 5.0 inch FWVGA IPS display with a screen resolution of 480*854 pixels which is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It is supported by 1 GB RAM and operates on Android v5.1 version. Similarly, the Smartphone has a 3000mAh battery with the primary camera of 5MP and front camera of 2 MP. The phone with an internal memory of 8GB, that can be extended to 32 GB, has connectivity features like 3G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth. The phone is priced at Rs 10, 098.

The All New Ford Endeavour
Stating to redefine the SUV segment, GO Ford Nepal launched the All-New Ford Endeavour in the capital on Feb 9.  Led by Ford’s Asia Pacific design and product development teams, the All-New Ford Endeavour builds on the strengths of Ford’s previous generation model, said the company at the new car’s release. 

“Be it the everyday commute or the most extreme off-road terrain, the All-New Ford Endeavour will be the new benchmark in the SUV segment thanks to its rugged off-road capability, exceptional ride quality and dynamic handling,” said Nigel Harris, president and managing director, Ford India.

Gionee Unveils Elife S8, New Logo at Barcelona
Smartphone maker Gionee officially launched a new brand identity at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb 22. The company revealed a new logo and a new tagline, ‘Make Smiles’. The company also introduced its latest flagship phone, the Gionee Elife S8.

The S8 features hassle-free video and photo-shooting systems, 3D Touch and a fully metallic, loop metal design which features the world’s first invisible loop antenna. Also it boasts a 5.5" AMOLED display under Coring Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is equipped with an enhanced camera system capable of faster and more accurate focusing. It is the first smart phone to use RWB technology, as well as a F1.8 aperture and 6P lens that enables users to take optimum images in low-light scenarios. The S8 has a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The embedded AKM4941 HD recording chip and the two highly sensitive microphones, allows users to capture videos with clear and high quality sound. 

The S8 is powered by a Octa-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB on-board storage expandable up to 200 GB. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner. Gionee has also brought 3D Touch to the Android Smartphone in the S8 and added an innovative side bar. The S8 runs on Amigo 3.2 based on Android 6.0

Huawei GR5 Out
The Huawei Group has launched the latest smartphones in GR5 model. The phone features a 5.5-inch FHD screen and boasts 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It has 13MP, F2.0 aperture rear facing camera with stacked CMOS sensor, and 5MP front facing camera. 

This smartphone operates on lollipop 5.1 version which is supported by 3000 mAh battery. Similarly, the smartphone is featured with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 version and has USB 2.0 version connectivity. This GR5 delivers advanced second generation fingerprint identification, giving instant access and advanced function control which works with both wet and dry fingers and from any angle using 360-degree identification. This premium device is priced at Rs 34,000 and is available at the Lalitpur Complex.

Huawei Mate 8 Out
The Huawei group has launched its new model Mate 8 amid a program at capital on 28 February, 2016. According to a press statement, the Huawei Mate 8 is a productivity-driven smartphone with significantly enhanced power, efficiency and battery life. The Mate 8 continues Huawei’s track record of delivering high-end devices that reflect the global consumer demand and inspire loyalty in their users.

Also displayed on the occasion was the Huawei GR5 that was started being available just before the Valentine’s Day. 

The Mate 8 features several industry firsts, including the Kirin 950 chipset, 16 nm FinFET plus chip technology, and an ARM Cortex-A72 processor. The Mate 8 also has the next-generation Huawei EMUI 4.0 operating system based on Android Marshmallow. Similarly, Mate 8 has 6-inch FHD screen with negative LCD, 16 megapixel rear camera and 8 megaixel front camera. The dual-SIM 4G phone is powered by 4, 000 mAh battery power. 

Honda Holds Free Service Camp
Honda Motors organised a free door to door service camp for owners of Honda motorcycles and scooters on Feb 9 in Lekhnath, Kaski district. The camp was organised by Kunwar Brothers' and Sons, the authorised Honda distributors in Pokhara. A similar event had been held in Talchowk and Hemja earlier.

Tata’s Ace Mega Pick Up
Tata’s new Ace Mega pick up is now available in the Nepali market. Launched by Tata India’s authorised Nepal distributors, Sipradi Trading, the vehicle is powered by a 800 cc engine which delivers 40HP of power, said the company. Its five -speed gearbox facilitates speed of 90 kmph and has a fuel efficiency of 20.6kmpl. Its large brakes with 7 inch Brake boosters coupled with LCRV ensure best in brake efficiency and longer life of the vehicle. The strong and rugged front and rear leaf-spring suspensions and axles make the vehicle perfect for the varied load conditions.
