TVS Jupiter in the Market
CG MotoCorp, the authorized distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal has launched its new scooter TVS Jupiter. According to the company, Jupiter offers greater comfort, convenience and comes with many first-time features. TVS Jupiter is powered by a 110 cc engine that generates a maximum power of 5.88 kW at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8 Nm at 5500 rpm. Other features of Jupiter include 5 litre fuel tank, 17 litres of under seat storage, bright headlamp, twin city lamps, and LED tail lamps among others. Jupiter has a wheelbase of 1275 mm and has a turning radius of 1910 mm. TVS Jupiter comes in Titanium Grey, Mercury White, Midnight Black and Volcano Red colours. 
 
Springwood’s Spring-Summer Collection 
Springwood has introduced a new collection of T-shirts, formal and casual shirts, casual trousers and denims as part of its Spring-Summer 2014 collection. According to the company, the new collection is meant for free-spirited youth who want clothes that reflect their personality. This season, Springwood T-shirts have focused on different themes like music, sports, culture and heritage, nature and environment and humour.  
 
‘Bajeko Sekuwa’ in Pokhara
Bajeko Sekuwa Restaurant has opened its branch in Pokhara. This is the restaurant’s first such franchise outside of Kathmandu Valley. According to the restaurant, the new branch will have the same taste and menu available in Kathmandu. The Pokhara franchise of the restaurant is managed by Dibyashree Foods Pvt Ltd. Bajeko Sekuwa has been serving authentic Nepali cuisine with its signature ‘Bajeko Sekuwa’ for the last 37 years. With its Pokhara outlet, the restaurant now has a total of seven outlets. 
 
Vodka Flavour Dusk in Market
Avanish Distillery Pvt Ltd has introduced its new spirit Vodka Flavour Dusk in the market. The distillery had launched its spirit Striker a few months ago, and also has plans of bringing out new whiskey in the near future. According to the company, Dusk is prepared with high quality raw materials and comes in attractive package. 
 
Fourth Gen Honda CR-V Unveiled
Syakar Trading Company Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributors of Honda cars in Nepal has introduced the fourth generation of its SUV Honda CR-V. According to the company, Honda CR-V comes with improved features including more space, comfortable interiors and better styling. The SUV is also claimed to offer superior power performance and incomparable fuel efficiency.  The SUV is offered in Blue Opal Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and White Orchid colours, and is priced at Rs 9,500,000. 
 
Konka’s World Cup Offer
Saurabh Photo International introduced a new scheme titled ‘Konka Goal Danadan, Prizes Tanatan’ on its Konka brand of TVs. Under the scheme, customers purchasing Konka TVs can participate in a lucky draw that offers different prizes. According to the company, the scheme will delight the customers and will help make the FIFA World Cup a memorable event. The scheme started in 109 countries including Nepal.  
 
Colors Launches LED TVs
Colors Appliances has launched a new range of LED TVs in the market. According to the company, the LED TVs are launched in 19, 24 and 32 inch sizes and they conform to international standards in design and technology. The TVs come with an 18-month warranty. As an introductory offer, buyers will get an F7N Colors phone worth Rs 1800 free with every LED TV. This offer is valid till July 31, 2014.
 
Close Up Gets New Logo 
Close Up Deep Action gel toothpaste is now offered with a new logo. The new Close Up Deep Action is available in two flavours, 'Red Hot' with an edgy flavour that stays for long and 'Peppermint Splash' that makes the gums feel fresh. According to the company, the toothpaste consists of active zinc mouthwash that takes action against germs micro shine crystals that remove the yellow film from teeth and offer a sparkling white smile. 
 
Hisense’s ‘Hitech World Cup Offer’
Navin Distributors Pvt Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Hisense for Nepal, has launched a world cup scheme titled ‘Hisense Hitech World Cup Offer’. Under the scheme, customers purchasing Hisense televisions within the scheme period will get free gifts worth Rs 700 to Rs 15,000.  Customers purchasing 19 and 24 inch TV will receive a 4 GB pen drive and a 8 GB pen drive is offered free on the purchase of 32 inch TV. Similarly, a power bank worth Rs 5,900 comes free with 40 and 42 inch TV. Customers buying 55 and 65 inch TVs are gifted with a free HDMI player worth Rs 1500. 
 
Laxmi Hyundai Distributes Prizes to Winners
Laxmi InterContinental Pvt Ltd, sole distributor of Hyundai vehicles for Nepal, has distributed two Hyundai EONs and 50 tola gold (5 tola each to 10 winners) to the lucky draw winners of ‘Hyundai Dashain Tihar Ko Offer, Super Duper Bumper’ campaign. The company organized a programme at its Thapathali showroom to distribute the prizes. The prizes were jointly handed over to the winners by Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of Laxmi InterContinental P Ltd and Subin Limbu, Miss Nepal 2014. VG Suzuki Launches Let’s
VG Automobiles, authorized importer and distributor of Suzuki Motorcycle India Ltd in Nepal has introduced Let’s, Suzuki’s new scooter in the market. LET’S is powered by a 112cc engine that generates maximum output of 8.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9 Nm at 6500 rpm. The company claims Let’s to give a mileage of 63 km/l. According to the company, Let’s maintains perfect balance between utility, performance and styling. Other features of the scooter include better power, smooth output over any speed range, weight of 98 kgs, tubeless tires and maintenance free battery among others.  Let’s is available in five different colours and is available at an introductory price of Rs 157,900. A utility box with mobile charging kit is offered free with the scooter. 
 
Kia Introduces New Soul
Continental Associates Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Kia Motors for Nepal has launched new Soul in the Nepali market. According to the company, the new Soul is sleeker and more sophisticated than its previous version introduced in 2011. New Soul comes in 1.6 litre petrol and diesel variants. The petrol engine generates a maximum power of 124 ps at 6300 rpm and a maximum torque of 15.5 KgM at 4850 rpm. Similarly, the diesel version produced maximum power of128 ps at 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 26.5 KgM at 2750 rpm. Both the variants come with a 6-speed manual transmission. Other features of Soul includes more passenger and cargo room, reduced noise and vibration, smart key, push button start, front and rear parking sensors and rear view camera, climate control AC with cluster ionizer and arm rests at the front and back seats among others.
  
HH Bajaj’s New Showroom at Katari

Suzuki’s New Showroom in Biratnagar
Suzuki 4-Wheelers has opened its new showroom Koshi Auto at Biratnagar. This is the newest addition to the company’s nationwide network of 23 sales outlets across 17 cities. The new dealership was inaugurated by the Managing Director of CG MotoCorp Arun K Chaudhary. On the occasion, the showroom offered gift hamper of 32 inch LCD TV on purchase of Suzuki Swift and Dzire, and 21 inch LCD TV on Alto K10, WagonR, A-Star and Eeco on the opening day.
 
Ncell Launches Twitter Zero
Ncell customers can now browse Twitter for free as the company has announced the launch of its new campaign named ‘Twitter Zero’. With this, Ncell customers can send or read tweets, follow other people and see followers from mobile phones and computers without any data charges. The campaign came into effect from 27th May and will continue for three months. There is no activation and service fee attached with the service. Mobile users can avail the facility at m.twitter.com. “Twitter Zero is our initiative to provide great value to our customers. It will empower our customers to express their thoughts and comment on others’ opinion, thereby bolstering their rights of freedom of expression,” said Sanju Koirala, Corporate Communication Director of Ncell.
