Sunrise Bank Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Bank of China

May 15: Sunrise Bank has signed an agreement for strategic cooperation with the Bank of China (BoC), Gansu branch. Sunrise Bank said in a statement that the agreement was signed by the representatives of the two banks amid a function in Kathmandu on May 13.
 
According to the agreement, Sunrise Bank and BoC, Gansu Branch, will work together for trade in goods and services in the Chinese currency and will share information which might be relevant to both parties.
 
All strategic activities mentioned in the agreement shall be within the frameworks of the central banks and the prevailing laws of the two countries, the statement added.
 
Chief executive officer of Sunrise Bank, Ratna Raj Bajracharya, and DGM of Bank of China, Gansu Branch, Wang Vaigun, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
 
Gansu Governor Tang Rengiyan, Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Paudel and Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives of the province, Chakrapani Khanal were present during the agreement-signing ceremony.
