July 9: Muktinath Bikas Bank has started operation of six new branches on Sunday, July 8. The bank opened its branches at Tokha, Kirtipur, Badegaun and Imadol inside the Kathmandu valley and Gorkha and Tamghas of Gulmi outside the valley.
The Tokha branch was inaugurated by Tokha Municipality’s Mayor Prakash Adhikari while the Kirtipur branch was inaugurated by Kirtipur Municipality’s Mayor Ramesh Maharjan. Likewise, Godawari Municipality’s Mayor Gajendra Maharjan inaugurated the Badegaun branch and Bhuban Kandel, executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the Imadol branch.
Similarly, Gorkha Municipality’s Mayor Rajan Raj Pant and the Mayor of Resunga Municipality inaugurated the branch at Gorkha and Tamghas respectively.
With this, the bank has altogether 119 branches, 25 ATM counters across the country, reads a press statement issued by the bank.
