July 10: Norvic International Hospital has been honoured with the Quality Choice Prize by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR). The hospital said in a statement that it bagged the award amid a function in Berlin, Germany, on July 7.
During the awards ceremony, 55 selected global companies, hospitals, public administration institutions and other organizations from Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Australia received the coveted prize.
Manish Khemka, executive director of Norvic’s parent company M/s BLC Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, received the award on behalf of Norvic International Hospital.
Prior to receiving the award, Khemka was invited to deliver a keynote speech about the activities Norvic has been conducting in Nepal.
The hospital said in a statement that the international audience was appreciative of the advances made by Norvic in the healthcare domain.
The ESQR is a European organization with head office in Lausanne (Switzerland), which promotes quality awareness, recognizes good, ethical business practices, technological innovation, quality achievements in companies, public administrations and organizations worldwide, and publicizes their successful performance strategies, the statement added.
