New Resort Comes into Operation in Pokhara

August 9: The newly opened Mountain Glory Forest Resort and Spa has come into operation at Rahichaur ward no 23 of Pokhara Metropolitan City. The resort has been operating since the last two months.

Both domestic and international tourist have been attracted to the resort since its opening, according to Kiran Tuladhar, sales and operation director of the resort.

“The service and natural beauty of the place allure the tourists,” he said.

According to the resort’s Executive Chairman Sunil Bhakta Shrestha, the resort is spread across 72 ropanis of land with an investment of around Rs 1 billion. He said that the resort started its operation with 64 rooms.

The resort has altogether six blocks, six villas, one presidential room, one suite room and super deluxe rooms. Likewise, there is a spacious parking area and swimming pool for tourists.

 Tourist staying in the resort can enjoy the view of snowy-white mountain range of Machhapuchchre, Annapurna among others, said the operator of the resort Dhruba Bhahadur Thapa. Likewise, they can also take pleasure viewing the confluence of two rivers -Seti and Fusre along with green forest surrounding the area.

There is also a cycling track and foot track in the area. According to Thapa, the resort is established targeting to the high-class tourists.
