September 19: Laxmi Bank and Laxmi Cares jointly organized a fund raiser gala dinner to commemorate the 50 glorious years of the musical journey of legendary singer Deep Shrestha.

According to a press statement issued by the bank, the charity event included guests from various walks of life with a common interest to support Nepali music and to contribute to a social cause. 

 The company claimed that the funds raised from the event will be used to place two electric vehicles at a heritage sites that will provide free of cost service to elderly citizens and people with special needs. 

 The event was held recently at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. 

 The organizers stated that this year’s program was the start of the series and is planning to organize it annually as a flagship event of Laxmi Cares.
