November 9: QFX Cinemas has launched its first Multiplex at Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Thimi. The company said in a statement that the multiplex, which has investment from Regal Cinemas Pvt Ltd, will be managed by Team Quest.
The newly built theatre is located on the 5th floor of Thimi-based Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Bhaktapur district.
According to the company, the theatre is equipped with Depth Q 3D technology, which is a worldwide leader in its field, in all three screens. It also features Dolby ATMOS sound technology, which provides enhanced sound quality in greater detail, creating a more immersive experience for the audience with better clarity in audio.
The new multiplex also has Christie Projection System, which perfectly aligns pixels for an optimal image quality to offer viewers the most enhanced cinematic experience.
“This is the first time that QFX Cinemas has recliner seats in the theatre. The new multiplex with 702-seat capacity is equipped with 40 recliner seats,” the statement said.
QFX Cinemas said it has given continuity to its mobile app and loyalty program "Goji" along with its online ticketing facility for cashless transactions in its new chain.
The multiplex has also put forward a food court with a kitchen offering an expanded menu of fresh food. Additionally, the new multiplex boasts of a modern and elegant decor that adorns its interiors.
With the launch of this three-screen multiplex, the total screen count of QFX Cinemas in Nepal has reached 23.
Regal Cinemas Pvt Ltd has also announced further expansion of the chain in two other locations of the country with two screens each at Bhatbhateni Supermarket, Butwal and Bhatbhateni Supermarket, Biratnagar.
