Summit Air adds Let L-410 to its Fleet

November 22: Summit Air has added a new Let L-410 aircraft to its fleet.

The airline in a notice issued on November 22 informed that a new Czech made Let L-410 Turbolet belonging to the airline arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Thursday afternoon.

The Let L-410 aircraft is a small-sized turbo engine aircraft with 18 seats capacity.   

The airline in the notice informed that it will operate the aircraft in its regular STOL (short take-off and landing) route after completing the necessary documentation with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

 At present the airline has been operating both commercial and chartered flights to Lukla, Kanchunjunga, Jomsom, Dolpa, Rara and Simikot from Kathmandu with Let L-410 aircraft. 

Apart from the Let L-410, the airline also owns Cessna Grand Caravan 208 aircraft.
