Mid-Term Review of Monetary Policy not Satisfactory: CNI

March 4: Although the mid-term review of the monetary policy tried to solve some issues faced by the industrial sector, the Confederation of Nepalese Industry (CNI) said that most of the problems of the industrialists have not yet been addressed by the central bank.

CNI said that the central bank has not made adequate effort on management liquidity crunch, problem related to contract on the issuance of credit and loan etc.

However, the confederation appreciated the review in loan issuance to the sectors which are prone to coronavirus infection. The CNI also said that the new virus many adversely affect the country’s economy.
