Magnitude 5 Quake Jolts Pokhara   

March 16: An earthquake of magnitude 5 in the Richter scale with its epicenter in Lumle of Kaski district occurred at 8:45 pm on Sunday evening, according to seismologist Mukunda Bhattarai of the National Seismological Center (NSC).

The quake was felt in Kaski, Gorkha, Tanahun, Lamjung and Syangja districts of the Gandaki Province. Bhattarai said that the Centre is working to confirm whether or not the quake is an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake. - RSS
