November 30: With the onset of winter, Dabur Chyawanprash is an effective way to boost one’s immunity through changing weather cycles, claims Dabur Nepal – a multinational company that produces the time-tested product in Nepal.

“It is a clinically tested Ayurvedic formulation of more than 41 Ayurvedic herbs that aid in boosting the immune system, thereby protecting the body from everyday infections like cough and cold caused by bacteria, viruses, dust and weather change,” the company said in a statement.

According to the company, Dabur Chyawanprash contains many ‘Rasayana’ herbs, which help in prevention of a variety of infections through its “immunomodulatory” effects.

Dabur claims it has conducted various clinical and preclinical studies, which confirm Chyawanprash’s beneficial effect on immunity, seasonal influences, nasal allergies and infections.

The company says Dabur Chyawanprash is the perfect solution to a plethora of diseases like cold and cough, respiratory problems to name a few, which are the most prevalent in this season and usually occurs due to low immunity.

“During cycles of season change there is a sudden temperature change, which leads to infections and illnesses like cough, cold and flu. Enhancing immunity is an effective way to fight such diseases.”

The key ingredient of Dabur Chyawanprash is Amla (Indian gooseberry) which is known for its immunity building properties, the company said adding: Other ingredients like Guduchi, Pippali, Shatavari, Vidarikand, Haritaki, Kantakari, Kakdashingi, Bhumyaamalaki, Vasaka, Pushkarmool, Prishniparni, Shalparni, etc helps in alleviating the common infections and allergies of respiratory system.

“An amalgamation of these ingredients makes Chyawanprash a perfect blend of herbs to provide immunity for better health in the winter season.”

Moreover, Dabur Chyawanprash can do an incredible job in promoting lungpower, adds the statement. According to the company, it nourishes the mucous membrane and helps in maintaining the respiratory passage clean and clear.
