Google Celebrates Rorschach's Birthday 
Search engine major Google on Friday celebrated the 129th birth anniversary of Freudian psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach. The doodle features his famous personality test, now known as the 'Rorschach inkblot test'. The black and white doodle features a cartoon version of the renowned psychoanalyst sitting with a notepad and pen, while a pair of hand holds a piece of paper with the inkblot. Users are asked to share their interpretation of the inkblot onsocial media platforms such as Google Plus, Facebook or Twitter. Born in in Zurich, Switzerland, Rorschach loved of klecksography – the art of turning inkblots into known images. This later shaped his career as a psychiatrist. After years of conducting various tests, he wrote Psychodiagnostik – a book describing how inkblot tests can be effectively used in psychoanalysis – in 1921. Rorschach died when he was 37, suffering from a ruptured appendix.
 
Nissan to Unveil Electric Sports Car 
Nissan said Friday it would unveil a sporty concept electric vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show as Japan's number-two automaker presses on with its bid to tap the burgeoning green-car market. The company, which has been selling its Leaf electric vehicle since late 2010, said it hoped its Nissan BladeGlider would help it reach a market of male drivers who still want performance and styling in an environmentally friendly car - a major hurdle to widespread commercial sales. The car, to be unveiled at the biennial Tokyo exhibition later this month, features an aerodynamic design that widens from the front to back with space for a driver in the middle and two passengers in the rear. 
 
Microsoft Makes IE 11 browser Work for Windows 7
Microsoft Corp. said on Thursday that it has made its latest browser,Internet Explorer 11, available to users of Windows 7 machines.The new browser had already been part of the Windows 8.1 upgrade the company released last month.The browser, available as a free download, improves the performance of websites that use JavaScript. Microsoft says the browser is 9 percent faster than Internet Explorer 10. It also enables better 3-D graphics rendering in websites, allowing users to manipulate 3-D objects on-screen.
 
 
Call of Duty: Ghosts Ships $1bn on Opening Day
Sales of the latest Call of Duty video game surpassed $1 billion during its first day in stores, video game-maker Activision Blizzard said Wednedsay, reaching that mark in record time. Call of Duty: Ghosts, the military-themed shooter video game released on Tuesday, is the 10th installment in the decade-old franchise. Last year, Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, reached the $1 billion mark in global sales after 15 days. In September, Activision rival Take-Two Interactive Software said Grand Theft Auto V set a record by reaching the $1 billion mark after just three days in stores.
