July 2: NIC Asia Bank Limited has launched a new Mastercard issuance service to enhance its payment system. The service was officially inaugurated during a program held in Pokhara on Sunday.

According to the bank, the Mastercard, which functions as a debit card, will be available at its branch offices. The card includes advanced security features such as an EMV chip and state-of-the-art contactless technology.

With this card, customers can enjoy ATM withdrawals in Nepal, India, and Bhutan, as well as POS and e-commerce payment facilities.
