Samsung Opens Pre-Booking for Galaxy Note9

August 19: Samsung Electronics has opened pre-bookings for its flagship Galaxy Note9 smartphone in Nepal. According to the company, the latest edition of its premium Note series was launched globally in New York on August 9 while the booking was opened in Nepal on Friday, August 17.

Samsung said in a statement that the Note series is known for including the company’s state-of-the-art groundbreaking innovations, and Galaxy Note9 builds on this legacy with a premium smartphone that delivers the ultimate performance with a 4,000mAh battery, new S Pen and Samsung’s most intelligent camera yet.

“The Note series has always been our showcase for premium technology and industry-defining innovation, and Galaxy Note9 is no exception. It’s designed for a level of performance, power and intelligence that today’s power users want and need,” said Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, head IM-Biz.

The Galaxy Note9 is available with two internal storage options –128GB or 512GB. And with the ability to insert a microSD card, Galaxy Note9 has a total storage capacity of 1TB.

According to the company, the Galaxy Note9 is a “super powerful” smartphone with cutting-edge 10nm processor and support for the fastest network speeds available in the market (up to 1.2 gigabits per second) to stream and download without slowing down. Galaxy Note9 also includes an industry-leading and Samsung developed Water Carbon Cooling system and on-device AI-based performance adjusting algorithm to deliver the powerful yet stable performance.

The S Pen is the signature feature of the Note series and now with Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) support, the new S Pen delivers an entirely new way to use the Note. Developers can even integrate the S Pen’s new, advanced BLE functionalities into their apps later this year.

With advanced noise reduction technology, and a dual aperture lens, which adjusts to light just like the human eye, no matter the lighting conditions, Galaxy Note9’s top-tier camera delivers a crystal-clear shot, the company claimed. The camera uses intelligence to identify elements of a photo, such as scene and subject, to automatically classify it into one of the 20 categories and instantly optimize it based on the category with a new scene optimizer.

Galaxy Note9 has the largest edge-to-edge display ever on a Note. The 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display provides a truly immersive multimedia experience. Galaxy Note9’s Infinity Display is complemented by stereo speakers, which are tuned by AKG, and ability to deliver Dolby Atmos immersive audio for a life like experience. Galaxy Note9 also delivers a PC-like experience with Samsung DeX. According to the company, users can work on presentations, edit photos, and watch their favourite show all powered by their phone.

On pre-booking  consumers can avail either of the two offers   - HDMI adapter and a leather cover or with additional Rs 10,000 an HDMI adapter and a 24” Samsung Curved Monitor. Users will also get to enjoy an array of other benefits and gifts, which include 18000 MB from Ncell and breakage insurance from Shikhar Insurance for a year.

Samsung will also host a lucky draw among all its pre-bookers and the winner will be awarded a free round-trip ticket to any Turkish Airline destination of his/her liking and the runner-up will get to enjoy a two-night stay for two at either the Himalayan Front Resort or the Water Front Resort.

Galaxy Note9 will be available in three distinctive colours—midnight black, ocean blue and metallic copper at Rs 109,900. All variants of Galaxy Note9 will be available across all Samsung brand shops and retail outlets.
