NCC to organise commerce expo from Thursday

November 28: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) is all set to organise the “Nepal Chamber Expo 2018” at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall from November 29 to December 3.

Issuing a press statement, Nepal Chamber of Commerce said that the expo is an initiation to establish quality business event to bring together national and international business enterprises under one roof to showcase the growing trend of trade and industry and its future potential.

“Export promotion, attracting foreign investments and developing trade relations within and at international arena are the important areas the expo will be woven into. The participation of local and foreign participants at the expo offers a conducive business environment for entrepreneurs and traders to explore an extended business horizon,” reads the statement.

NCC said that the prime objectives of the expo include consumer awareness, quality products and trade facilitation.

NCC expressed its belief that the expo will give impetus to the business community to enhance the productivity and quality as per the market demand by creating a hub for new connections and networking; and advocating for the promoting of export oriented products and services.

According to NCC, Myanmar is the partner country of this edition. The expo garners support from international business community through which many foreign companies are exhibiting in the expo. With segments like automobile, electrical and electronics, flooring and furnishing, home appliances, home décor, modular kitchen, fashion wear and accessories, mobile and gadgets, FMCG and many more, the expo will be an attractive venue for shoppers and customers, according to NCC.
