OPPO Mulls Introducing R-series in Nepal

November 30: Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is mulling the launch of its R-series smartphones in the Nepali market considering the demand and wish of Nepali customers for the “most loved product all over the world”.

According to the company, the OPPO R-series offers industry-leading design and excellent photography experiences.

Statistics from market research firms Counterpoint and Strategy Analytics show that the OPPO R9 was one of 2016’s best-selling products globally. Furthermore, OPPO R11 became the bestselling Android phone in 2017 while more recently the R15 model in China became the most popular smartphone in Q2 2018.

OPPO said in a statement that the R-series reinvigorated the industry with metallic colors and glass gradients.

“When the smartphone industry was producing phones in silver, gold and rose colors, OPPO launched the metallic red of the R9, with a New Year’s edition in 2016. For the R11 Barcelona edition, it invented a mixed red and blue metallic color. And the R11 pioneered the crescent curved design that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical. With the R15 going even further with the Ruby Red and Cosmic Purple gradient colors,” the statement said.

With photography, the R-series continues to deliver fantastic camera capabilities at an affordable price.

The R15 Pro features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, as well as large storage and impressive battery life. In addition, VOOC Flash Charging technology ensures to charge the phone in a flash, helping to keep consumers powered throughout the day.
