Samsung Smartphone Café in Jawalakhel 
Integrated Mobility Solutions (IMS), the authorized national distributor of Samsung mobiles has opened a new Samsung Smartphone Café with Customer Service in Jawalakhel. According to the company, the smartphone café in Jawalakhel is the first Brandshop in Lalitpur to have Customer Service Centre which will provide the customers with repair and after sales services. The Smartphone Café was jointly inaugurated by Chairman of IMS Deepak Malhotra, Director of Samsung Yubeom Wo and President of IMS Dikesh Malhotra. The Smartphone café will provide its customers with a firsthand experience of Samsung smartphones, gadgets and accessories. 
 
Bharatbenz Trucks Come to Nepal
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, Germany, has launched its made-in-India BharatBenz trucks in Nepal. The company has also opened its BharatBenz dealership in Birgunj. The newly launched trucks will be sold in Nepal through Omni Trucking dealership. The BharatBenz trucks manufactured by DICV‘s comprises seven models (914 R, 1214 R, 1217 C, 2523 R, 2523 C, 3123 R, 4023 T), from medium-duty to heavy-duty trucks with various usage and applications.
 
New KTM Bikes Launched
Hansraj Hulaschand and Co Pvt Ltd has launched KTM RC 390 and RC 200 in the market. KTM RC 390 delivers output of 43.5 ps and 35 Nm of torque. It has features like ABS by Bosch, Metzelertyres, upside down forks and an aluminum swing arm. Similarly, KTM RC 200 produces 25 Ps of power and 19.2 Nm of torque. It comes with twin projector headlamps and a unique body-integrated pillion seat, among other new features.  The KTM RC 390 and RC 200 are priced at Rs 649,900 and Rs 499,900 respectively. 
 
NLIC’s New Insurance Plan
Nepal Life Insurance Co Ltd (NLIC) has launched a new insurance scheme ‘Naulo Jeevan Sambridhi Bima Yojana’. The features of the scheme include single premium payment option, coverage of physical handicap, policy loan availability after one year after paying 2 yearly premium, and added policy tenure of 10 and 25 years. According to the company, during the policy term, there shall be sum assured payment before the policy maturity at the interval of four years from date of policy issue.  The risk of death of insured is covered through the period and premium payment is made for limited terms only. 
 
Djokovic’s Life Story in Film Series
World number one tennis player and three-time consecutive Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic and Australian wine brand Jacob’s Creek  have released ‘Made By’ film series. According to a press statement, the unscripted and raw films show a side of Novak the world has not seen before. “Titled ‘Made By Determination’, the documentary style film series takes viewers back to the beginning of Novak's journey, from growing up in war-torn Serbia, to the dedication and commitment of his first coach Jelena Gencic, to his pivotal Grand Slam wins in the Australian Open and Wimbledon,” says the release.   
 
Philips Introduces New LED TVs
Syakar Company Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributors of Philips TVs for Nepal has launched new models of Philips LED TVs in the market. According to the company, the new TVs come with features like HDMI, USB, Smart function, Full HD, slim profile, Ambilight, 3D and ultra-narrow bezel. The TVs are also claimed to be power efficient and affordable. The launched TVs are in size range of 32 to 65 inches, and are priced from Rs 44,900 to Rs 251,900.   
 
Pashupati Paints’s Workshop on Paints and Color Trends
Pashupati Paints conducted a one day exclusive ‘Workshop on Paints and Color Trends’ for interior designers and architects. The workshop was held on 21st December, 2014 at The Everest Hotel, Kathmandu. Reputed interior designers and architects from across the country along with colour experts from India participated in the workshop. According to the company, the workshop was held with an objective of disseminating information and knowledge about colours and paints. The workshop also held presentations on how colours affect our everyday life and how colours could be used effectively to enhance the utilization space. 
 
Suzuki 4-Wheeler’s New Showroom in Damak
Suzuki 4-Wheelers has opened its New Exclusive Showroom BRN Brothers in Damak. According to the company, this is the newest addition to its nationwide network of 25 sales outlets across 20 cities. The new showroom was inaugurated by Executive Director of CG MotoCorp Karan Chaudhary. The showroom will deal in all Suzuki four-wheelers along with the newly launched Ciaz.  On the occasion, the Damak Showroom offered cash discount of Rs 10,000 on its opening day.  
 
Mahindra Two-Wheeler’s ‘Naya Barsa Navin Harsa’ Offer
Mahindra two-wheelers has launched a New Year promotion named ‘Naya Barsa Navin Harsa’. Under the scheme, customers receive a discount of Rs 7000 on purchase of any Mahindra two-wheelers from any of its showrooms across the country.  This scheme is valid till 15th February 2015.

The rebranding will not result in any change to services, policies or commitments made to customers and business partners.
 
Bacardi Makes its Way to Nepal
Bacardi rum, the world’s most awarded spirit with more than 550 awards for quality, taste and innovation has made its way to Nepal. Bacardi has launched two flavoured rums, Bacardi Limon and Bacardi Apple in the Nepali market. According to the company, Bacardi Limon infuses Bacardi rum with the flavours of lemon, lime and grapefruit, and Bacardi Apple is full of the flavour of crisp apples. Bacardi Limon and Bacardi Apple are available in the market at the price of Rs 950 for 750 ml pack.

VG Automobiles Opens New Service Centre
VG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, the authorized importer and distributor of Suzuki motorbikes for Nepal has opened a new service centre at Bhimsensthan, Kathmandu. According to the company, this is one of the largest bike service centres in Nepal, and the customers will receive world-class bike servicing from the centre. The company has also claimed that the service centre is the first of its kind, fully equipped with latest tools and equipment and spreading in an area of 40,000 sq ft. The service centre has Suzuki certified and well trained manpower and an ample storage space of Suzuki genuine parts, says the company. 
 
Coca-Cola Launches its First Kiosk Container
Coca-Cola in association with Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) has launched a new concept of a Kiosk Container in Nepal for the first time. According to Coca-Cola Nepal, in the Kiosk Container, vendors will sell Coca-Cola products like Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite along with snacks. The Kiosk container was launched in a program organized by AITM Institute in presence of Constituent Assembly member and PABSON President Umesh Shrestha and Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Ltd Salman Latif Rawn. According to the company, the purpose of the Kiosk container is to introduce established and successful concepts of the world into the marketing strategy of Nepal.
