Himalayan Bank’s ATM in Hotel Shangri-La Premises
Himalayan Bank Limited has installed its 79th ATM in the premises of Hotel Shangri-la, Lazimpat. The ATM was jointly inaugurated by CEO of Himalayan Bank Ltd Ashoke SJB Rana and Chairman of Hotel Shangri-la Shyam Bahadur Panday. Any cardholder with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay or SCT credit or debit card can avail cash withdrawal facility from this ATM. Executives and officials from Bank and the Hotel were present in the ATM inauguration program. 
 
Everest Bank Donates Wheelchairs
Everest Bank has donated wheelchairs to Gautam Buddha Airport, Bhairahawa for disabled people as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. CEO of the Bank AK Ahluwalia handed over the wheelchairs to Airport In-charge Dharmendra Pandey in a programme held at Gautam Buddha Airport.  The event was attended by Heads of different Airlines, Security Officials and the officials from the Bank. 
 
BoK Introduces ‘Janaki Bachat Khata’
Bank of Kathmandu has introduced a new deposit scheme titled ‘BOK Janaki Bachat Khata’ in Janakpur. The new product offers CSR component with it as a fixed amount is contributed from the bank with every account opened for the development of Janaki Temple. The saving account can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs 5,000. According to a statement from the Bank, the deposit scheme comes with attractive interest rates, free check book, balance certificate, and free VISA Debit Card. The service is only available at Janakpur Branch of the Bank. 
 
Sanima’s Branch at Satdobato
Sanima Bank Limited has opened its new branch Satdobato, Lalitpur. The branch was jointly inaugurated by the Brand Ambassadors of the Bank Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya. In the inaugural function, Director of the Bank Bharat Bahadur Thapa and CEO Bhuvan Dahal expressed gratitude to customers and stakeholders for their support. With the new branch, the number of the branches of the Bank has now reached 37. 
 
Vibor Commences 365 Days Service
Vibor Bikas Bank Limited will now be offering 365 days banking service. The service has been started from the Bank’s head office Tripureshwor branch and later will be provided through other branches as well. The Bank has announced the opening time from 10 AM to 12 PM on holidays, and deposit limit up to Rs 1,000,000 and withdrawal limit up to Rs 200,000 for such transactions. 
 
Kumari Bank Opens Branch at Kapurkot
Kumari Bank has opened a new branch in Kapurkot of Salyan district. The branch was inaugurated by Nepal Rastra Bank’s Deputy Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari in the presence of the Chairman of the Bank Noor Pratap JB Rana, CEO of the Bank Uday K Upadhyay and officials of the Bank. Chairman Rana said in the inaugural event that the Bank is committed to provide modern banking services to the majority of the Nepali population. Similarly, CEO Upadhyay said that operating branches in such areas will boost the financial transactions in the region and contribute to national economy. Kumari Bank is providing its services through 34 branches, two extension counters and 40 ATM locations throughout the country. 
 
NMB Bank Organizes Financial Literacy Training in Dailekh
NMB Bank in association with Planet Finance conducted a 6-day training on financial literacy and education for its microfinance customers in Dailekh. The training programme dealt on topics like introduction to financial literacy, identification of income and expenditure, saving as the foundation of prosperity, loan and its utilization, exploitation of customers, family budget and personal financial management. According to a statement from the Bank, around 150 residents of ChupraBajar, BhainsikhorBajar, PuranoBajar and NayaBajar of Dailekh participated in the training. Omkar Pandey of Planet Finance and Manager of NMB Bank Dailekh branch Mitra Raj Pyakuryal represented their respective organizations in the training programme. 
 
Century Bank Installs ATM in Manthali
Century Commercial Bank limited has installed its 25th ATM in Manthali, Ramechhap. With this new ATM, the Bank now has 31 branches, 25 ATM centres and one extension counter.
