Nepal's hospitality industry is on a roll. As Nepal plans for 2 million tourists in 2020, swanky five-star hotels are being opened in Kathmandu city. Two five-star properties - The Kathmandu Marriott and Aloft Kathmandu have already started their operation this year. Joining this bandwagon is Akama Hotel, a four-star property promoted by Non-resident Nepalis (NRNs). Two more - Hilton and Kathmandu Sheraton are under construction. Not to be left behind, Everest Hotel that was closed after the 2015 Earthquake is now all set to resume its services within this year.
