Job Description

• Design marketing materials
• Design and produce print-ready layouts for use in newspaper/magazine in a daily deadline environment.
• Design and review graphics, layouts, and suggest/make improvements as needed.
• Forge and execute exciting digital ideas
• Check and respond to e-mails in a timely manner
• Lead/coach, coordinate and assign duties and responsibilities to the assigned team as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties for Aarthik Abhiyan newspaper when required

 

Other Specification

• Two years experience in graphic designing
• Proficient with the general typographic, layout, and full-color printing skills
• Proficient in Creative Office Suites, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Coral draw
• Ability to work independently and  in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to be focused while balancing efficiency with creative quality
• Understanding of color theory and general design principles
• Keen to learn and implement creative ideas
• Knowledge of print production and different printing protocols
