New Business Age Pvt. Ltd. (NBA), a well-established media house of Nepal, which publishes New Business Age (www.newbusinessage.com), an English Monthly and Aarthik Abhiyan (www.abhiyandaily.com), a Nepali National Daily is looking for a highly motivated professional to fill out the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO).
The DCEO is a key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. He/she provides leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that NBA has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place, to effectively grow the organization and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures
• Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Oversee the daily operations and implement improvements as necessary
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders
Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance and Marketing.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Bachelors in Business Administration or relevant field; MBA is a plus
