Senior Programmer - PHP Laravel

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
  • Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary
  • Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
  • Generate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process
  • Conceptualise, visualize & generate ideas
  • Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
  • Train end-users to operate new or modified programs
  • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior team members
  • Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements
  • Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes
  • Independently handle all the technical issues of the website

 

Requirements
  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Wordpress MVC framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Laravel
  • Knowledge of Adsense, Adwords and other advt. networks
  • Knowledge of social media management   
  • Should be SEO friendly
  • Experience in working with Ajax
  • Experience with MySQL and Apache
  • Knowledge in using JS/JQuery/ XML /HTML5/CSS3/
  • Knowledge in enterprise design patterns is a plus
  • Knowledgeable regarding good database design and proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deliverables with specified timelines
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
