Minister for Youth and Sports, Tejulal Chaudhary, reiterated the government’s stance that the 10th National Games will be held as per the schedule in February in Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province.

Speaking during a meeting of the National Assembly’s Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee on Sunday, Minister Chaudhary assured that the event would proceed as planned, emphasizing the government's commitment to hosting it on time.

The minister reiterated the government's dedication to promoting sports and ensuring social security for the country’s athletes. In the meeting, Members of Parliament, including Padam Pariyar, Madan Kumari Shah, and Sumitra BC, stressed the importance of adhering to the pre-determined time and location for the games. They urged the sports minister to ensure no changes were made to the schedule or venue.
