August 8: The 9th Malaysia education fair will be held from August 12 targeting those students who are interested to study in different colleges of Malaysia. The fair is being organized by Study Plus Pvt Ltd for two days in Hotel Annapurna located in Durbar Marg, Kathmandu. The education fair is scheduled to be inaugurated by Ahammad Fadil Mohammad Ismail, Malaysia's ‘Charge d’affair’ for Nepal.
The education fair that is going to be organised under the support of Malaysian Embassy has aimed to provide information about Malaysian education system to Nepali students. Umesh Adhikari, the Managing Director of Study Plus Pvt Ltd said that the representatives from Malaysian universities will be participating in the education fair. "Nepali students can directly interact with them and get informed about the education system and services available to them," he added.
As a scheme, the student will get scholarship and discounts up to 50 percent if they participate in the education fair. "The students will be provided information about the education and skill development system in Malaysia through the seminar that will be held during the education fair," says Adhikari. According to him, around 2,000 students had participated in the education fair last year. Organiser expects that more than 2000 visitors will be visiting the education fair.
