The second annual general meeting of Shreenagar Agritech Industries Ltd on Sunday elected the company's founders, Satish Chand Shrestha, Moushumi Shrestha, Kamal Prasad Nepal, Poshak Raj Paudyal, and Ram Krishna Khatiwada as directors.
The AGM held in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Rupandehi also approved Amar Bahadur Thing as an independent director. Issuing a statement, the company said the AGM passed the annual report of Shreenagar Agritech Industries Ltd., presented by the company's chairman.
Similarly, the meeting approved a proposal to issue 10% of the company's total paid-up capital as ordinary shares to the public.
After the AGM, lawyer Bishwas Acharya, the coordinator of the election committee, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected directors. The board meeting held after the AGM elected Satish Chand Shrestha as the chairman of the company.
The event was attended by Shantadevi Gyawali, vice chairperson of Sudhodan Rural Municipality, Rupandehi; Gopal Paudyal, President of Lumbini Province Agricultural Cooperative Association; Durgesh Man Singh, company shareholder and former ambassador; entrepreneur and shareholder Gajendra B. Shrestha; and Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of IGI Prudential Insurance, among others.
