January 10:  Bank of Kathmandu (BOK) has bought two-thirds promoter share of Kathmandu Capital Market Limited, a merchant banking company licensed by Security Board of Nepal. After the share purchase, BOK will provide merchant banking services through the company.

With this, Chetan Bar Singh Thapa has been appointed as the Chairman and Mahesh Mishra and Dipak Gautam have been appointed as the board members of Kathmandu Capital Market representing the bank.
