Holi, the festival of colours, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Kathmandu and hill districts of Nepal on Thursday, March 13. Also known as Fagu Purnima, this vibrant festival marks the arrival of spring, with revelers joyfully smearing colors on each other and tossing water balloons in celebration.
Thousands of Nepalis and foreigners have gathered in Basantapur to partake in the festivities, creating a lively and colourful spectacle.
