The 30th edition of CAN Info-Tech, the flagship event of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation, began at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on Thursday, February 6.
Officially titled “HMC Nepal Hiksemi CAN Info-Tech 2025 in Association with Mercantile Office Systems,” the five-day exhibition features around 150 stalls, with 120 already booked.
The Department of National ID and Civil Registration’s stall has been the centre of attraction so far, as visitors eagerly enrolled for their national ID cards.
Organizers expect over 350,000 visitors during the event.
Tickets are priced at Rs 100 per person, with students receiving a 50% discount. Tickets can also be purchased online through Ticket Sanjal. Senior citizens, people with disabilities, children under 10, and students from government and community schools with official recommendations are granted free entry.
CAN Info-Tech 2025 aims to serve as a dynamic platform for technology enthusiasts, showcasing the latest technological advancements and applications driving Nepal’s digital growth.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Department of Information Technology, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, and private companies such as Thakral One Nepal, Max International, Nagmani International, Megatech Trade Group, Hi-Tech Engineering, Pine Overseas, and Subisu.
