Citizens Bank International Limited has been honored with the prestigious Bank of the Year 2024 award in London.
The award was presented to the bank amid an event organized by the United Kingdom-based The Financial Times on Wednesday, December 4.
The Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors, Prabal Jung Pandey, and the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Ganesh Raj Pokharel, represented the bank and received the award on its behalf , the Citizens Bank said in a statement.
The ceremony was attended by more than 300 people, including bank chairpersons and CEOs from over 100 countries.
Chairman Pandey expressed his pride in receiving the Bank of the Year 2024 award, which is considered the “Oscar” of the banking industry, reads the statement.
“This honor motivates us to introduce more advanced, technology-friendly banking services to customers in the future,” the statement quotes Pandey as saying.
CEO Pokharel mentioned that this achievement was made possible due to the support of all stakeholders and the hard work of the bank’s employees.
