Citizens Bank has announced a contribution of Rs 2.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support flood victims.
Over the past two days, heavy rainfall has severely affected many parts of Nepal, disrupting daily life and transportation.
At least 50 people have lost their lives across the country in floods and landslides triggered by the continuous rainfall as of Saturday afternoon.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Citizens Bank is committed to helping those in need, the bank said in a statement.
“At Citizens Bank, we are extending our support during this critical time and assisting various districts with our limited resources,” said CEO of Citizens Bank Ganesh Raj Pokharel.
