SPG Automobiles, the official distributor for Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal, has announced cricketer Deependra Singh Airee as the brand ambassador for these brands. Airee, the “Omoda Electrifying Player of the Tournament” in the recently-held Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 and captain of Sudurpaschim Royals, was introduced as the brand ambassador at an event held in Kathmandu on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Airee expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. “The futuristic EVs with state-of-the-art features at an affordable price are outstanding and unmatched in this segment. I am excited to be associated with Omoda and Jaecoo, brands that have achieved significant success in the EV market by being at the forefront of innovation and futuristic technology,” he said.

SPG Automobiles Director Gaurav Sharda also shared his excitement about the appointment. “Airee, who is ranked second among the International Cricket Council’s men’s T20I all-rounders, is one of the rising stars of Nepali and world cricket. We are proud to appoint a talented young player like Deependra Singh Airee, who consistently demonstrates a high level of commitment to his skills and performance, as the brand ambassador for Omoda and Jaecoo,” said Sharda.

The ceremony was attended by Sharda Group Chairman Shivratan Sharda and Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Sharda. Omoda and Jaecoo were the “Driven By” co-sponsors for the first edition of the NPL. At the event, Airee was handed the Omoda car he earned for his outstanding performance in the NPL.
