Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a leading Indian FMCG conglomerate, has officially launched its confectionery and mouth freshener brands in Nepal. The expansion includes a diverse range of Indian ethnic confectionery, popular candies, chewing gums, and refreshing mouth fresheners.
LG International has been appointed as DS Group’s official distribution partner for Nepal. The launch was marked by a dealer meet at the Kathmandu Marriott, where key distributors and stakeholders were introduced to the product lineup, the company said in a statement.
The newly introduced brands include Rajnigandha Silver Pearls, Pass Pass, Pulse candy, Luvit, and Cherio (hard-boiled candy).
“DS Group is excited to bring the unique taste of its confectionery range, including the Indian Ethnic Confectionery segment, to Nepal,” said Tanuj Kumar, Senior Manager, Export, DS Group. “We are confident that our innovative product portfolio will resonate with Nepalese consumers who seek high-quality and flavorful treats.”
The company’s confectionery division achieved a significant milestone in FY 2023-24, surpassing INR 1,000 crores in annual sales turnover, the statement added. Additionally, DS Group has deployed over 800 electric vehicles in its distribution network, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability.
