Gold became cheaper by Rs 100 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Thursday after creating an all-time record on Wednesday.
With the decline, the hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 153,300 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Silver, however, saw a rise, with its price increasing by Rs 15 per tola to reach Rs 1,795, compared to Rs 1,780 per tola the previous day.
