The prices of gold and silver dropped in the domestic market on Tuesday, October 8.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of gold at Rs 400 per tola (11.66 grams) cheaper than that of the previous day.
With the decline, fine gold is being traded at Rs 160,100 per tola.
Last Friday, October 4, gold set a new record after reaching Rs 161,300 per tola.
The price of silver also dropped by Rs 40 per tola for the day to be traded at Rs 1,940 per tola.
