The price of gold has been continuously rising in the domestic market of Nepal of late.
With the latest adjustment in the price of gold fixed by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of the precious yellow metal has reached an all-time high in Nepal.
The price of gold increased by Rs 500 per tola (11.66 grams) on Monday, setting a new record. According to the federation, the price of fine gold is now Rs 157,300 per tola, up from Rs 156,800 per tola on Sunday.
The federation fixes the price of gold on the basis of the price in international market. Due to the continuous rise in price of gold in the international market, the price has also increased in Nepal.
Similarly, silver prices also saw an increase of Rs 15 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,900 per tola on Sunday, is now priced at Rs 1,915 per tola as of Monday.
