The price of gold increased by Rs 300 per tola (11.66 grams) on Wednesday, November 6.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the fine gold is being traded at Rs 168,500 per tola on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the first trading day after Tihar, the price of gold had dropped by Rs 2,800 per tola, falling to Rs 168,200.
Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs 15 per tola on Wednesday, and is being traded at Rs 2,015 per tola.
Last Thursday, gold prices had surged to Rs 171,000 per tola, marking an all-time high in Nepal.
