The price of gold in Nepal reached a new high on Sunday, April 13, continuing its record-breaking rally that began last Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of the precious metal climbed by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday, reaching Rs 186,000 per tola.
This surge follows a sharp rise of Rs 5,700 per tola last Thursday, which pushed prices to Rs 181,100. The bullish trend continued Friday, when gold soared to Rs 185,000 per tola, setting a new benchmark before surpassing it again on Sunday.
Silver also posted a notable gain, increasing by Rs 55 per tola on Sunday to Rs 1,960, reflecting the broader uptrend in the precious metals market.
