The government has allocated Rs 109 billion for social security allowances in the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.

Announcing the budget on Thursday, May 29, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel said the funds will be used to cover all categories of social security benefits, ensuring support for eligible citizens across the country.
