Laxman Chalise has been appointed as the director of NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NICLBSL), representing NIC Asia Bank.
The board of NICLBSL, in a meeting held on Wednesday, February 5, approved his appointment based on the recommendation of NIC Asia Bank. Chalise will serve for the remaining tenure of the current board, replacing Dipen Karki.
He was sworn into office by Prakash Raj Sharma, Chairman of the Board.
Chalise brings 20 years of experience in the banking sector and has been serving as the Assistant General Manager and Head of the Performance Assurance Ecosystem at NIC Asia Bank Limited.
