December 28: Mega Bank Nepal and Samsara Remit have signed an agreement to provide remittance service. Raveena Deshraj Shrestha, Deputy General Manger of the bank and Jeevan Babu Shrestha, Executive Vice Chairman of Samsara Remit signed an agreement amid a program on December 27. After the agreement, remittance send through Samsara Remit can be received from all the branches of Mega Bank, said the bank in a press statement.
The bank believes that the co-operation will ease the remittance services especially in Gulf Countries, Japan, Europe and Malaysia. Samsara being the super agent of Moneygram, money sent through Moneygram can also be received from the Mega Bank.
