Nabil Bank Limited has once again been honoured as the highest taxpayer bank.
Every year, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) recognises highest taxpayer individuals and organisations in various sectors on the occasion of National Tax Day.
On Saturday, November 16, Nabil Bank was awarded the certificate for being the highest taxpayer in the banking, financial institutions, and insurance sector for fiscal year 2022/23.
Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel presented Nabil the award amid an event organised at IRD. Sujit Kumar Shakya, Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Nabik Bank, accepted the honour on behalf of the bank.
This marks the eighth time Nabil has been honoured in this category. Previously, it had received the recognition in fiscal years 2010/11, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2016/17, 2018/19, 2019/20, and 2020/21, the bank said in a statement.
Nabil Bank serves more than 2.4 million customers through its 268 branches and 320 ATMs across the country.
